So...Recruiting Talent - Human Touch or Systematic Process?

There seems to be a trend in recruitment in all areas except one, SMEs appear to be out-recruiting large corporates.

In 2010, as Britain looks to re-build its economy, corporates are increasingly finding it a challenge to recruit the best talent.

John Mortimer, Co-founder of Angela Motimer Plc together with the panel;

Nicky Bizzell, Eversheds
Gemma Lockwood, The Chartered Institute of Housing
Jennie Seymour, Martineau
Melanie Small, BPI Group
Helen Kane, GVA Grimley

discussed their experiences and and views on successful recruiting methods and processes, and the advantages and disadvantages both Corporates and SME's have facing this challenge. John and the panelists talked about their experiences and answered questions submitted by the audience during the live session.

The most powerful thing to come out of the webinar seems to be a consensus that the human touch is key to identifing and attracting talent through the recruitment process. The next Webinar will be held on 31st March discussing Graduate Talent: Who has the staying Power?
